To my dear clients,
Some of you are beginning to hear through the ‘grape-vine’ that I’m moving and those rumors are not rumors. This fall, my husband and I will be relocating to Tampa, FL for his job. This is a great opportunity for us, but it is quite bitter-sweet at the same time. I have met so many great families and individuals during my time as a photographer here and am going to miss the opportunity to continue to capture the memories for you and your families.
It has not been my intent to keep you all in the dark, but rather, it was my hope that I would be able to share with you that I had found someone to buy my business and take over the studio so that you would have someone to pick up where I have to leave off; someone with similar style that I knew you’d be in good hands with. Unfortunately that is not the case. With that said, I do have some photographer friends scattered throughout Lycoming county that I can refer you to; ones that either have their own studio or just aren’t ready to take the HUGE leap into a studio space. If you want some recommendations, send me an email and I’d be happy to pass on their contact information.
Your image files will be going with me, so if there’s something you want to order from a previous session don’t hesitate to contact me; email will be the best way kdean@kareydeanphotography.com.
I want to take this opportunity to sincerely thank each one of you for your support and trust in capturing some of your most precious life moments. We’ve shared many laughs, frustrations, even tears and I cherish you all!
God Bless!
Karey Dean

I wanted to take a few seconds and express how excited I am for our Christmas Portrait Event on November 23rd and 24th! We went shopping yesterday for the decor that will be the backdrop of the portraits and I just can’t wait to see it once it’s all set up!! The already beautiful Library Room at the Holiday Inn will be decked with traditional greenery, elegant accents of white and silver, and touches of burlap for a look of ‘Rustic Elegance‘.

Here is a sneak peek of just some of the decor.
Each session will last a maximum of 20 minutes. There are no restrictions on age or number of people. Directly following your session, you will order your prints, cards and gifts. Our ‘sales elf’ will walk you through this process. We will have child care during the ordering portion of your time with us. We will have a movie playing and toys for the kiddos.
Print packages for the event start at just $75!! We are also offering custom Christmas cards, iphone covers, ornaments, mugs and much more…something for everyone on your shopping list!! A $25 deposit holds you session and then goes towards your order total. All orders will be ready for pick-up no later than December 16th to ensure you have them in time for your Christmas celebration.
If you have any questions regarding this event, please contact Karey at (570)651-9381 or kdean@kareydeanphotography.com.
This is going to be an incredible event! Spots are limited and filling up fast, so go to www.kareydeanphotography.com/book to reserve you family’s session TODAY! And don’t forget to tell your friends so they can grab a spot as well!! See you there!

First of all, I want to say how humbling it is as a photographer to have someone drive 100 miles, one way, to have you photograph their child because they love what you do! I just couldn’t be more honored! I just hope you feel it was worth every mile for you Lindsey!! I’d say based on your reaction when you saw them that it was! This little stinker gave me a run for my money, but he eventually warmed up to the idea…or was it that the way to his smile is through his belly?!?

Such a handsome little hunk!

Not quite amused yet…

Puppies make everyone happy!

I LOVE PLAID!

It’s okay to slouch when you’re this cute!

Certainly didn’t take him long to smash his cake…just the way we like it!

Yum!

What are you lookin’ at?

Cake was definitely the answer to get those smiles out!! Guess we should have gotten messy first!

Just too cute!

His mama and I just can’t resist this one in black and white!
Thank you Lindsey for trusting me to freeze these precious memories for you and Carter…memories he may only remember through these photographs! God Bless!

Jenn’s dress was absolutely gorgeous…so many beautiful details!!

So stinking cute!

I think this is one of the most important images to capture at a wedding…the groom seeing his bride for the first time, walking down the isle.

The ceremony site..

This was so worth a ride up on a lift! Such a great way to capture all of the guests that were part of this wonderful couple’s day.

‘I’ll take you for a ride on my big orange tractor.’

These beautiful girls were so much fun to ‘work’ with!

Boots!!

Have I mentioned that this just may have been my dream wedding? It was ‘Classy-Country’ and so [Pinterest] perfect! The family farm was a wonderful setting.

Can you even believe this is a functioning barn/farm?! It was just so beautifully decorated!

The cake/dessert spread by Iced Cake Boutique…

pretty and delicious…

More lovely details…

Lots of goodies to make the day even sweeter…

The first dance as husband and wife

- Can’t miss out on a perfect ‘golden hour’ moment.

What better way to end the evening with a celebration of PSU’s win!
Jenn and Andy, it was such an honor to tell your wedding day story! Thank you for the opportunity!
We wish you many blessings as you begin your life together as husband and wife!

It is my goal for everyone who walks into my studio to feel at home and my tiniest clients are no exception. With that said, I want to take the opportunity to share with you all just a few of the things I have to offer for your sessions here at the studio – in particular for babes.

I get teased about my obsession with blankets, but I’ve got a colorful variety to keep my wee clients warm and cozy.

A well-stocked changing table is available for those inevitable dirty diapers…

Wipes, diapers, powder for you to use in the case that you forgot to bring extras or your baby blew through all of the ones you did bring…it’s been known to happen!

A comfy, private nook for nursing.

These are just a small sample of bows, ties and tutus in my collection.

And a few of the wraps, hats and diaper covers…there’s lots more where they come from!

A few of the backdrops to chose from…lots of colors and patterns.
I do my best to make things as comfy and convenient for you and your baby. You’re always welcome to bring items you’ve received or bought (I know how it goes my fellow Etsy shoppers) to incorporate in the photos, however, it is not necessary. For a newborn session a sleepy, diapered baby is all I need from you! For other ages and stages of life, please bring multiple outfits that we can choose from.
I enjoy spoiling my little clients as much as possible. Let me know if you think of something I may not have that would be helpful!

This beautiful family will become a family of 4 once a sweet baby boy joins them later this year…YAY!

Kisses!

Shortly before this image was taken (and about 5 minutes into the session) she says ‘I’m done cheesing’! We’ll see about that!

This proud mama and papa just celebrated their anniversary…here’s to the next 80!

Serious and sweet…oh and how about those curls?! I just can’t get enough of them!

‘CHEESE’! What a way to end the session…now it’s time for some well deserved ice cream!
Thank you to the Decker’s for this opportunity! It is such an honor to capture personal, beautiful memories that will last a long, long time for this and each one of my families. May we never take for granted the beautiful people God chooses to surround us with!

Had to share a few more of this beautiful family.
They are blessed with these precious twin girls whose smiles are just so contagious!!!

Ya gotta love a good shoe to munch on! They were such cute little sandals, but apparently even better snacks!
Their personalities are really starting to show…and I can’t wait to see them continue to blossom!

Thank you to the Doeblers for giving me the privilege of being your photographer! I so enjoy every moment I get to spend with your family! God Bless!

Just wanted to share a few of my favorites from this June Wedding. It was a beautiful summer day for this fun couple’s day.

Leah is just gorgeous! All of the feathers were a great touch.

Her flowers were so uniquely beautiful!

The lovely couple in front of Park Place.

The awesome wedding party.

The beautiful bride and her girls!

And last but not least the cake…so classy!
Congratulations Mr. and Mrs. Hosey! So happy to be able to record these memories for you! God Bless!
